West Running Brook Road is a short dead-end street in East Billerica, running north from Patten Road to a turnaround near Content Brook. It was laid out on the "Definitive Plan of 'West Running Brook,' Billerica, Mass.," owned by Content Homes, Inc. and drawn in September 1969 by Emmons, Fleming & Bienvenu, Inc., engineers and surveyors, of Billerica. The Planning Board approved it on November 4, 1969, and it was recorded on January 8, 1970 (Plan Book 110, Plan 5). The plan shows the street 50 feet wide, curving north from Patten Road past seven lots of 34,000 to 74,500 square feet, with four more lots fronting on Patten Road, a drain easement along the western side, and Content Brook and land of the Town of Billerica beyond the northern lots. The houses date from 1969 to 1972.

In 1970 the town laid a six-inch water main "on cross country easements from Newport Drive to West Running Brook Road," linking the street to Newport Drive, and the engineering department did drainage work on the street in 1981. No vote accepting it as a public way was found. The plan does not explain the name, which was the name of the subdivision; the brook beside it is Content Brook, and the source of "West Running Brook" was not found.
